Angels
A technical study of white on white composition and texture isolation.
The goal for this shoot was to see if I could make a model in white clothes stand out against a white background without using any shadows to hide behind. Rachel S. sat on the floor wearing a white corset with puffy sleeves and matching white tights. The hardest part was making sure the small details like the white wings in her hair and the fine texture of her clothes wouldn't get washed out by the light. It's a story about seeing an angel in its pure and innocent nature. By controlling exactly where the light hit, I kept her looking sharp and her textures visible, turning a simple white room into a clean, heavenly space.
