On Hold
.webp)
A conceptual fashion study of corporate waiting and static communication against a clinical blue backdrop.
I placed Evelyn B. in a sterile blue environment to capture the feeling of being stuck in a corporate loop. She is lying on the floor in a sharp white dress shirt and black skirt, reaching for a desk phone that isn't ringing. The story is about the modern professional experience of waiting, being "on hold" with a career or a decision while trying to maintain a composed, high fashion exterior. I used a bright, shadowless light to make the scene feel as cold and artificial as an office, focusing on the contrast between her relaxed pose and the rigid, outdated technology in her hand. It's a visual representation of the moments when all the professional ambition in the world can't make the phone ring any faster.
