Snow Day

I built a fake winter in a studio using nothing but blue light and white fabric. Ella Tomassi sat in this artificial cold, wearing massive boots that anchored the entire frame. The story is about a person isolated in a clean, blue void. I blasted the scene with light to erase the shadows and make the white clothes glow, creating a dream-like environment. It does not matter that the snow is missing; the blue color tells the story of the cold better than real ice ever could. The model is the only solid thing in a world made of light and color.
